FIEC is proud to announce the first series of lectures celebrating the 75th anniversary of the foundation of FIEC, to be held online in November and December 2023. A second series of lectures will be organized in the course of 2024.

La FIEC est fière d'annoncer la première série de conférences commémorant le 75e anniversaire de la fondation de la FIEC, qui se tiendra en ligne en novembre et décembre 2023. Une deuxième série de conférences sera organisée dans le courant de l'année 2024.

FIEC Congress 2028 – call for candidacies
After the XVIth International Congress of the FIEC, which was held with great success (but entirely online due to the sanitary circumstances) in Mexico City in August 2022, and the forthcoming XVIIth International Congress organised by the Polish Philological Association at the University of Wrocław, from 7 to 11 July 2025, the FIEC is to hold its next International Congress in 2028.
The FIEC Board is therefore launching a call for candidacies from its member associations. Any association or institution interested in organising the FIEC International Congress in 2028 is kindly asked to contact the Secretary General of the FIEC Thomas Schmidt, at thomas.schmidt[at]unifr.ch. The candidacies should be sent by 31 October 2023. The organisation and financing of the Congress is the responsibility of the local organisers, but the FIEC Board offers logistical collaboration and a modest contribution to the costs of organising the Congress.
Après le XVIe Congrès international de la FIEC, qui s'est tenu avec grand succès (mais entièrement en ligne en raison des circonstances sanitaires) à Mexico en août 2022, et le XVIIe Congrès international, qui sera organisé par l'Association philologique polonaise et se tiendra à l'Université de Wrocław du 7 au 11 juillet 2025, la FIEC devra tenir son prochain Congrès international en 2028.
Le Bureau de la FIEC lance donc un appel à candidatures auprès de ses associations membres. Toute association ou institution intéressée par l'organisation du Congrès international de la FIEC en 2028 est priée de contacter le Secrétaire général de la FIEC Thomas Schmidt, à l'adresse thomas.schmidt[at]unifr.ch. Les candidatures doivent être envoyées d'ici au 31 octobre 2023. L'organisation et le financement du Congrès relèvent de la responsabilité des organisateurs locaux, mais le Bureau de la FIEC offre une collaboration logistique et une modeste contribution aux coûts d'organisation du Congrès.
